Financial Support Resources

University Financial Support
The University offers various types of financial support. This includes the Durham Grant scheme, Scholarships, the Instant Access Hardship Fund, Government Funding, the Student Support Fund, the Student Immigration and Funding Service, and the Student Employability Fund, and who to contact for financial support information.
College Financial Support
The College’s Student Support Team will endeavour to support you if you are in financial hardship, and are the initial point of contact in relation to applications to the Student Support Fund.
JCR Collis Participation Fund
The Collis Participation Fund to provide access to JCR sports, societies, competitions and JCR membership, for students who might otherwise be unable to afford them.
JCR Collis Event Access Fund
The Collis Event Access Fund to provide discounted tickets for JCR organised events (excluding the Fashion Show) for students receiving the Durham Grant. Discounts are awarded on a tiered basis depending on the level of grant support a student receives.
JCR Collis Care Experienced Fund
The Collis Care Experienced Fund supports care-experienced students by covering the full cost of the JCR levy to reduce barriers to entry.
